So it is down to how much hot water you use daily which will determine what you require.

It is POINTLESS having more solar panels collecting heated water if it can not be stored safely and have a use for it.
For an average UK house it is recommended that a minimum of 3 square meters of FLATPLATE SOLAR PANELS (collector) are required with 210 litres of hot water storage tank.
