example of imported solar panels fixed to roof externally
Imported solar panels are fixed to the roof and held in place with support brackets.
The solar panel is more open to the weather conditions, wind and cold air, due to a gap of around 50mm from bottom of solar panel to roof tiles, making it inefficient.
problem for UK climate
This gap between the roof tiles and the solar panels are constantly cooled by the WIND and COLD AIR. External pipework connections are also cooled.
IN OUR OPINION
The loss of heat from the solar panels output makes this design concept inefficient. Designed and approved imported solar panels fitted this way are made for warmer climates of the globe.
fitted inside roof solar panels
No external support brackets are required because the solar panels sit inside the roof, making them more energy efficient.
Fitting solar panels into the roof gives the appearance of roof windows, making them more pleasing in appearance to homeowners and their neighbours.
They are installed into rafters and held by shoulder brackets, making it easier to connect several solar panels together.
problem for UK climate
NONE.
BETTER WIND RESISTANT and all pipework is fitted internally for ease of installation and MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT.
